At Uniting Distant Stars, beauty runs deeper than the surface—it’s braided into the confidence, creativity, and career potential of every student who walks through our doors.

Since 2017, our Cosmetology Program has been empowering youth with hands-on training in hair care and styling, manicures and pedicures, facials, and make-up application. Recently, our students put their skills to the test, practicing intricate hair plating techniques on both mannequin heads and live volunteer models. Through each twist and braid, they learned more than a technique—they experienced the power of patience, precision, and pride.

Leading the way is Instructor Emmanuel Duwah, who has guided students for several years and brings real-world experience from his thriving salon located near our training center. His dual role as teacher and entrepreneur exemplifies the local success stories that UDS strives to cultivate.
